Why Atheneum Learning™?
We produce and distribute e-Learning in the behavioral health (mental health) field for professionals and consumers. Over 100 million people in the US are affected by some psychiatric diagnosis or related problem, which includes people suffering from psychiatric illnesses and their family members. Not enough professionals are trained in the most effective treatment approaches, and families are often desperate to find out what to do and where to go for help. Atheneum Learning™ will be the trusted resource for education and guidance for years to come.
Edmund C. Neuhaus, PhD, ABPP, founded Atheneum Learning™ to provide training to professionals and educate consumers in the general public who are suffering with the uncertainty about what to do. Dr. Neuhaus established his career over two decades at McLean Hospital, the largest psychiatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He created his position that combined teaching, clinical work, and research, the result of which was two nationally recognized programs at McLean: The Psychology Internship Training program, and the Behavioral Health Program for Mood and Anxiety Disorders. In 2009, he stepped down from his position to lead Atheneum Learning™ full time.
