Flexible CBT Approach: Online Training

By completing the online training in the Flexible CBT Approach you can earn continuing education credits that are issued jointly through TRi Behavioral, LLC dba Atheneum Learning, LLC and the accredited provider, McLean Hospital, an affiliate of the Harvard Medical School. Please read below and then complete and fax the Registration form on CEU/CME policies /agreements in order to earn continuing education credits.

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn the basic principles of cognitive behavior therapy
2. Learn principles of assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning
3. Learn psychoeducation and skills training as they pertain to depression, anxiety, and personality disorders

Training with CEU/CME is designed for Physicians, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, and LMHC.

Web-based Access

Schedule and Format: This online training program is accessible 24/7 with a 6 month subscription with unlimited access for all users.

The Flexible CBT online training program uses interactive learning instruction technology developed in Flash. You will learn the material by reading text, clicking pop-ups that are graphics and supplementary text, watching video instruction and simulations, and playing learning games. An extensive bibliography is included with numerous source references. The learning games serve two purposes: they enhance comprehension and mastery of the material, and completion of the games is required to earn Continuing Education Credits. There are Open Journal games that supplement learning although they are not for credit.

Hardware/software requirements: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 with Adobe Flashplayer 7.0 or higher, with Popups allowed; Internet Explorer or Firefox. Mac 10.0 or higher with Adobe Flashplayer with Popups allowed; Safari or Firefox.
